Back at lexis favorite spot. Instead of the lasagna I fancied the pomodoro with meatballs and it was FANTASTIC. My Italian ancestors would be proud

If there is a place in San Diego that will blow you out of the water in terms of food and vibes, this is the place. Homemade noodles and sauces that will transport you to Sicily Italy and have you begging for Nonna’s family secrets. I got the Pomodoro fresca with papardelle noodles, Korey got the pomodoro fresca with spinach and ricotta tortellini (i think), and abby got the ravioli special with a 5 cheese blend and prosciutto!!

Vibes were good, staff were really nice and gave me a lot of cheese. The build your own pastas were tasty too. Too full at the end 🤰

As someone who grew up on frozen lasagna for family dinner, this place knocked it out of the park. I feel like good service is rare nowadays but they were so attentive even for just a casual lunch. I am now an upperclassman at picky eater school after eating this octopus 🐙

Fantastic, rustic Italian restaurant that offers a build-your-own pasta adventure along with crafted dishes. We sat outside in the backyard, which was perfectly vibey and decorated with fairy lights. Highly recommend the octopus and Caprese salad to start with, and then move onto a few pastas to share. The truffle gnocchi was a sneaky crowd favorite - pillowy and chewy without being too heavy; I don’t usually like gnocchi and I could eat this for days. The other favorite was the paccheri with langoustine - def recommend especially if you love vodka sauce and shellfish. The tiramisu is prepared tableside - get as a little sweet treat before you leave.
