ok honestly, everyone was RAVING about this place that we were sitting next to. It sounds like once a month they do a special that is 4 courses with wine that accompanies each city they do in Italy. I honestly would love to try that out sometime soon. We both got the oven baked pasta which was so good but holy crap was it hot. Honestly i would love to give this restaurant another try if we do the 4 courses but i don’t think i’d run out of my way just for the oven baked pasta. There was one oven baked pasta with squash that sounded fire but they were all sold out. The focaccia was to DIE for with some balsamic and olive oil. I love date nights w blakey

The focaccia was unreal. Unfortunately didn’t snag a pic because I was hangry and we devoured it. The lasagna I’m going to give a soft 7 because it was boiling hot so I couldn’t comfortably eat it for 10 minutes. A crisis when one is already hangry.

phone did not eat first🗣️ if there is a sushi place i wish i could gate keep it’s this place. By far the best sushi ever especially at lunch. Every day they get their fish fresh from the fish markets near by. The staff is so friendly and always so attentive and ensure the best experience possible. I always get the seaworld roll and blake LOVES his chicken katsu (which you get all that and some miso soup for $15). we demolished our yellowtail, Halibut, and salmon sushi. The yellowtail is genuinely the freshest i’ve ever had. Enough about this place bc i still need to gatekeep her so bad😭

it doesn’t get much more authentic then this. If you want good mexican food san diego is the place to be. Right across the street from the heart of Old Town San diego, this may become my new favorite mexican restaurant. I got the shrimp fajitas and holy BUSSIN!! Sarah got the beef fajitas and then camille and sarah both got enchiladas. The service was amazing and the horchata was horchataing!!! They have the cutest stores nearby so i got some new mexican glass cups for my future apartment kitchen too!!!

this photo does not do the fish shop justice. Genuinely, the lobster taco with fish shop seasoning, add avocado, on flour tortilla. My. Death. Row. Meal. Another place that when i move from san diego I’ll forever be dreaming of these tacos.
