I still like Cho dang Gol better but this was still good. The vibe is v boujee tho it was reasonably priced. Dumplings were meh and the free tofu soft serve at the end was disgusting

Pretty solid hand roll place, first bite (salmon yuzu) was probably the best but everything else was great too A little bit pricier than other hand roll places (like kazunori) but not absurd ($45 for 5 decently sized hand rolls) I also felt like it was easier to bite through, with kazunori I’m always pulling at the seaweed idk Also I was still hungry we went to 7th street after lol

big shoutout to Amy for bringing these to hotpot night 🥹 she knows the way to my heart Everything was rlly good like 9/10, maybe a lil too sweet but just barely The matcha croissant was a winner and so was the creme brulee tart which was not pictured here but was sooo good

Packed af Cantonese spot - service was fire tho they kept refilling my tea The clay pot rice was my fav but their dumpling soup was also hot. Love a place w red vinegar cuz u know they know. The meats were kinda whatever but solid and cheap

Shrimp was sooo thick 🔥🔥 Not a huge pastrami person normally but the slices of short rib pastrami were so tender and paired perfectly with the mustard sauce and suya spice The powdered donut ice cream dug up some deep memories Everything else was pretty great

Truly delicious. The suyu, egusi dumplings and shrimp were highlights but honestly everything was rlly good. I can see why it’s top of so many best restaurant lists The daily special was a truffle chopped cheese and from now on I only want chopped cheese w tons of truffle on it The desserts were really wow - the cheesecake a 10/10 and the bodega special was super nostalgic My resy skills were really sharp to get this res but sooo worth it

Lamb pasta was delish - perfect amount of sauce and noodles had the right level of bite. The dips were solid but I feel like the paella was a skip. It wasn’t a true crispy bottom like paella should be, it was more like a rice with seafood on top

Love Kisa although when I first went they had unlimited refills for all sides then it became 3 free refills now it’s no free refills except kimchi 🥲 Overall tastes just as good as before, they also rotate the sides and the newish soy marinated salmon was 👌👌 they also had Korean fried chicken and they were super generous with portions for one us for that Everything overall was good though, they still have the free drink at the end but they don’t use coins anymore which was a bit more fun (you just press a button now) - got the mocha which was okay, their black bean latte is better

Came here for their sotbap lunch special - they’re also doing restaurant week for $30pp (+ extra for more premium options) which is their sotbap + a soup + dessert Got the uni and ikura sotbap which I’ve gotten before, their uni is pretty good quality but maybe a bit small (the other one we got was a steak and mushroom one which is probably more filling though) They ran out of their sweet potato dessert (which is a restaurant week special) so we got their mango bread pudding and vanilla ice cream with some stuff on it (idr exactly) and they were just okay I recommend their sotbaps though they got lots of different options 👍
