hortus is temporary closed atm, no idea why, but i wanted to dish about their sotbap sets 😋😋 my favorites include the mushroom and the steak! lots of flavor, delicious sides + soup, and so worth it for the price.
anyway, i usually go in around 12-2pm, and it’s decently filled with people, where you’ll always find a table. this is a nice place for dates, get-togethers, and business lunches! quick service, nice staff, and clean bathrooms! they can never do you wrong! also, factoring in other places around the area and their lunch deals, this beats every lunch special at any restaurant. my overall rating? 10/10
Came here for their sotbap lunch special - they’re also doing restaurant week for $30pp (+ extra for more premium options) which is their sotbap + a soup + dessert
Got the uni and ikura sotbap which I’ve gotten before, their uni is pretty good quality but maybe a bit small (the other one we got was a steak and mushroom one which is probably more filling though)
They ran out of their sweet potato dessert (which is a restaurant week special) so we got their mango bread pudding and vanilla ice cream with some stuff on it (idr exactly) and they were just okay
I recommend their sotbaps though they got lots of different options 👍
Recommended by a friend, but honestly thought this was overpriced for what it was.
Expected more fusion flavor/Asian flavors come out but it felt more like it was thrown together for the sake of being thrown together.
