Went to Meet Fresh for dessert, I was really excited yet scared to try this cuz I’m not a big fan of red beans BUT we tried hot tofu pudding soup with some pontaru and mochi… IT WAS SO YUMMY It was a really nice dessert for a cold stormy szn so it was worth getting… HOWEVER…. presentation could be better imo 😢 Richard said it looks like someone vomitted in a bowl LOL taste wise 9/10 but presentation wise 4/10 ⭐️

Went to Malatown Express for the first time. I haven’t had hotpot before so this was an exciting experience by putting a shit ton of food in a bowl but didn’t realise mine was the expensive one of the bunch LOOL Did I enjoy eating it? fuck yes but was it too much? sadly yes :( I couldn’t finish it… I added too much fishballs, 2 ramens and hella meat… Got Richard and Jeremy to finish it for me LOLOL Sadly I didn’t like the peanut soy sauce mix I made it tasted too weird LOL but overall I give the experience a 8/10 ⭐️

The interior of this place makes you feel like you’re in a street market and I loved it sm +meat yummy, the fat of the meat on the grill drips into the hot pot broth under the grill and it was sahr good +ribeye pad see ew amazing +papaya salad good but I wish I got it spicier +thai tea more on the creamy end which is good but I pref more tea +Mistake: going here w freshly washed hair

I LOVE COMING HERE BACK IN MY COLLEGE DAYS HAHAHAHAHAHA I got the nikutama udon with kitsune age on the side and a zucchini tempura. It’s pretty standard and quick pace on service. There’s not much to say since this is a chain restaurant and they have strict/specific service that they provide throughout each restaurant. I think one thing I miss is more drink options tbh but I think it wasn’t a financial profit for them to keep the fountain drink machine🫠 Also, I think the way they keep their ginger is kind of sus🧐 but that’s forsure not my speciality. They also switched their trash/recycle/ compost bins to all trash because people were just throwing things improperly. I do hope in the future they bring back that to bring more attention to what SF is trying to do which is be clean.

I’m a bias person so plz take this with a grain of salt😭 This was my first time going to Tasty Pot in Telegraph hill and I think the experience was okay🫡 The food took a bit longer than i anticipated, but also we were the first people in the restaurant. Im a basic girlie tryna get more gains so I ordered the beef option mild. Tasty pot is kind of a staple here in San Francisco and it’s usually what you ask for. When it comes to restaurants like this, i kind of like a bit of faster service; however, i know i shouldn’t be a greedy person😭. It reminds me of boiling point but the service is what makes the difference. I wish there was fish cakes but other than that it’s forsure a restaurant you go to when you just feel like it. Since I didn’t go during their peak hours, I’m not sure how busy they usually get.

Part two! Was a little tired from work so came back a second time to try their warm soba! Quite honestly, I think the cold soba experience was a little bit better. The broth was yummy but I wouldn’t say to die for. My friend over there got their duck soba (idk what the dish is called) and it was pretty good! I got the same thing; however, they finally added the tempura dipping sauce where they chopped up the daikon radish and it was forsure my favorite within my dish. They use seasonal veggies which were okay in my opinion because some veggies didn’t really complement the dish nor added any good texture. We also got the sora chips which were good but also… again… I think you should only come here ones. HAHAHAHA The hospitality of the restaurant is very well executed; however, it does take a bit to clear your table when there is trash on it but i think they were just busy.

This place was really good! I really like the soba because it wasn’t chewy and the dipping was just to my liking. I thought it was interesting how the tempura was not your typical dipping sauce but rather matcha powder. That’s forsure gonna be something that imma start doing. Ones you’re done with the soba, they give you a pot and you pour the soup into the dipping sauce which was a good ending to the meal. I feel like this place is better for people who want to eat alone HAHAHAHAHA
