Orders: salmon zuke box, deluxe box, blueberry matcha latte, and hamachi yuzu truffle box (?-Madi’s) +fish quality here is AMAZING +matcha so yum +the egg yolk w the salmon in salmon zuke was ambrosial +parking was so hard to find but I would go back to try other stuff on the menu +served a lot of rice so it’s filling

Orders: turkey pesto pressed panini, chocolate mochi pancakes, iced caramel latte, breakfast sammie +everything here is p good and food wasn’t too heavy +skip out on the chocolate mochi pancakes bc it was basically two glorified brownies stacked w some raspberry coulis and mascarpone; mochi element was nonexistent

Orders: Berry matcha, sesame hojicha einspanner, matcha pistachio Ratings: +Berry matcha (8/10) - good matcha color and quality plus the strawberry cream tasted like strawberry melona +sesame hojicha einspanner (8/10) - it was a tad sweet so I should’ve ordered less sweet but sesame flavor gr8 and hojicha didn’t settle too much +matcha pistachio (7/10) - pretty yum and good matcha, I’m just not a huge pistachio lover

Order: ilocos empanada, kwek kwek, and iskrambol +emapanada: 6/10 // a good snack, papaya + mung bean not my fave but the pork w the vinegar sauce was yummy and good crisp on the empanada +kwek kwek: 6.5/10 // fun to try and the pickled cucumbers (?) was good addition, the sweet sauce it came w was a lil too sweet for me +iskrambol: 7/10 // presented as bubblegum initially but when the chocolate syrup mixed in it was more banana and fun to drink, looks pretty too

we stumbled upon katsu burger during its soft opening!! they gave us a 15% discount for coming at the opening which was sick :) we got the katsu curry burger with 12 spice fries —> 7/10 ⭐️ very self explanatory ngl its a new burger place but i really enjoyed it! they have 12 styles of japanese inspired katsu burgers so i would love to come back again and try the rest of the menu!! ALSO they give you gloves when u dine in so you don’t make a mess eating da burger :)

Tried Curry Hyuga as a last min dinner option and won’t lie it was a pretty good find! The food came pretty fast! Richard got the beef hayashi om-rice with corn potage soup and i got the classic katsu don! it was my mistake to not read the description but i thought my meal had curry in it LOOL didn’t expect it to just be a rice bowl with chicken, lowkey was disappointed that there was no curry but that was my fault. Corn potage soup was pretty solid a goood 7/10. overall experience 7.5/10 ⭐️

Went to Giwa for our third anniversary, we decided to do brunchies cuz we had a party at seafood city at night. BUT anyways i decided to get the tempura omurice, richard got the pistachio prosciutto croissant sandwich - it was so decadent as per richard’s words. we also got the croque madam which was heavenly, the egg on top really completed it. they also serve ube matcha (7/10) and black sesame latte (8/10). the place was really packed!! we waited for 45 mins via waiting list before we got to sit down to our table. i would def wanna go back again for brunchies with da girls cuz the restaurant was mostly PINK it was so pretty definitely an ideal place for pics and selfies!! ALSO LOOK AT THE HEART SHAPED STRAWS!! I LOVEE!! overall experience 9/10 ⭐️

We got introduced to Republique by our friend Helen and they had HELLA pastries in here. Very unique ones too. One was banana dulce de leche pastry, one more croissant (for richard), blueberry meyer lemon meringue bar, one pistachio cream pastry and the other one… i’m not too sure i forgot 😢 we went to this place last week :// anyways we also got kimchi pizza puff pastry and adobo fried rice which i forgot to take a pic of. The place was very pretty and very big, loads of seating area and it was such a vibe!! Very nice for brunchies!! Overall experience 8/10 ⭐️

Milldang is a korean bakery that just soft opened in Santa Clara!! we decided to stop by to try their croissants and compare it to Croissante and our conclusion is that I prefer this place it was light and fluffy but richard said it’s TOO light so he prefers Croissante still cuz it’s more crispy and chewier and i quote from him “it has more layers like an onion” We also tried the salt bread which is really crunchy and chewy like a dinner roll but still soft. They had cream cheese salt bread and mentaiko salt bread but sadly they were all sold out so next time. Lastly we got the ham and cheese croissant and got it heated HOWEVER it was not heated at all… that shit was still cold in the middle which kind of ruined the experience for me :( overall experience 7/10 ⭐️

Went to Meet Fresh for dessert, I was really excited yet scared to try this cuz I’m not a big fan of red beans BUT we tried hot tofu pudding soup with some pontaru and mochi… IT WAS SO YUMMY It was a really nice dessert for a cold stormy szn so it was worth getting… HOWEVER…. presentation could be better imo 😢 Richard said it looks like someone vomitted in a bowl LOL taste wise 9/10 but presentation wise 4/10 ⭐️
