Had been way too long. Also the tea had no pearls. Do not order the jasmine pearl and hope for boba pearl stuff. Truly horrific surprise. The rest of the food was banging tho. I will be back. The chopped cheese thing was fire imo

So happy they opened their Manhattan location! Really busy on the weekends - turnover is pretty fast because vibes are on the casual side but you may have to wait a little if you’re looking to dine in. Scallion pancakes are a must get - shrimp was fun to try but I’m a sucker for a plain egg & cheese situation. The twice baked bolo bao was insane - had red bean paste and this other almond-paste-esque thing inside. Also love the mochi donut and custard toasts here.

The scallion BEC was really heavy and greasy, it tasted good and the sauce was yums but the greasiness was off putting. The custard treats were yummy, not too sweet but flavorful.
