back again w the guava matcha i got w my rewards🤑🤑🤑- no complaints bc it was free but i wouldn’t order it again. not bad but expensive and more milky and fruity than matcha

very yummy - i got the cold noodles with the regular tsukemen. tasty but i wish they gave more charsiu bc it was mostly just noodles/dough. a little pricey for that portion tbh $28. would like to try the french fries next time LOL. also did NOT have to wait at all bc we went on a sunday at 5:30pm so yay

lu rou fan is not what i expected. a little dry tbh but it’s a lot of food/rice and very cheap. the popcorn chicken and noodles r prob better to order

hot take but im not a big fan of thai food and if it were only up to me i prob wouldn’t choose to go to a thai restaurant. but my dad LOVES thai food and LIC so we went here and i finally got to see if it was worth the hype. the interior of this place is really nice and spacious. and as meh i am about thai food, id say what we ordered was pretty good. for context, idt i like thai food bc everything is either too spicy for me (or mildly spicy but my tongue burns the entire meal) OR too sweet for me (which is why i don’t like pad thai). HOWEVER, the pad see ew was rly yummy and i enjoyed the flavors of the duck!! this is probably the best experience i’ve had at a thai restaurant (saranrom is too spicy for me) what i didn’t like: tom yum was too coconut milky. tom yum is the one thing i’ll gladly order at a thai place bc im malaysian lol. the steamed branzino was good and very clean (not a lot of bones) BUT it was just any regular steamed fish my dad could make. i thought it would incorporate some thai flavors or lime/spicy, but it was just like what you’d get at a cantonese restaurant… i was disappointed but this place is both thai and chinese so makes sense… we got the special thai iced tea drink that had like cheese foam and coconut water? i do NOT like coconut water but this was a rly yummy drink i could barely taste the coconut😍

suchhhh an aesthetically pleasing cafe !!! the karaage was sooo good oh my gosh there was just a really clean yet flavorful taste to it? the drinks are so pretty i loved my lavender latte. hamburg steak was interesting but idk if id get it again. im not a huge fan of omurice either tbh. the salmon ikura bowl was so yummy!! matcha pancakes were so soft and fluffy. if i lived in LIC i’d be a regular

second time here - i decided to try the perilla oil noodles and honestly they were just ok. i’d rather get the prime rib soondubu like last time instead but it was worth a try i guess? the yukhye bibimbap was very yummy actually!! i love beef tartare. dad ordered the oyster soondubu but i didn’t get a chance to try it. galbi was delicious and tender as expected. the patties can be skipped tbh

vegan chinese food!! came here after the chinatown festivities. my opinion of this place is skewed by the fact that i had to be vegan on 初一 and do not enjoy the zhai choy my mom makes us eat so i was hungry and craving meat. this was the closest thing green beans were good. the sesame chicken was good but lowkey just tasted like youtiao with sauce on it lol no complaints i guess? the tom yum fish was surprisingly good and quite convincing haha. my least favorite was the char siu—i remember going to the other location as a kid and dreading the vegan chinese restaurant bc of this dish—smth about the taste throws me off idk!!

quite a small space, pub vibes great for pregame although i just went for dinner. the lychee bingsul was good but like nothing crazy imo. chapaguri was the best but the beef was not that tender. would maybe come back to try the budaejigae but idk maybe id just go for drinks or just go to pocha somewhere else
