first time trying rice rolls! I wasn't a huge fan; it just tastes like an unflavored deconstructed dumpling. it does get better if you add soy sauce and chili oil but then it just tastes like...soy sauce and chili oil. also the wait is kinda ridiculous for what I view as quick takeout food/snack

dinner w/ colleagues / old team! holy crap this was way better than I expected. maybe it's bc it was all on the corporate card, but steak was tender and rice had good flavor. also got some drinks that were tasty. super nice waitress as well who was super knowledgeable and gave good recommendations

five yr anniversary dinner with David!! 🫶 frena and labneh were by far the best thing here. the kumquats in the labneh added a really great flavor, and we ordered the lafa just so we could have something else to dip into it. the frena was our fave tho; super fluffy and soft, and we def should've just ordered 2. shawarma spiced fries were good especially with the white harissa sauce. joojeh chicken was pretty good as well. jeweled rice was a miss
