My kids were little monsters but the place, the food, the drinks made it worth it. I got the Risotto and their GBS cocktail 😍 I could’ve stayed and drank those all night! It was Gin, lemon, and basil. Definitely need to go back, even just for this drink.
Also really want to try their little spritz door. IYKYK
They should have contacted me before getting rid of the malfadine, and making the focaccia a little bit harder. I think it may have just been an off night, and the rigatoni and linguine were quite good. The steak also good. My drink was too. I guess it just took longer than expected and the focaccia was slightly disappointing. Honestly pretty good I will give it another try. Peyton was getting hangry and mean.
They put us in the corner behind the wall because they knew we’d be the loudest people there. Honestly probably the best Italian in vail, and if we didn’t get the MP steak, would be about the same price as La Botegga. Insanely pretty vibes — can definitely dress up. The crust of the steak was bad, but otherwise pretty good. I also really liked the Malfadine.
Oh and cocktail was insanely good.
Also the desert was awful and David let them know 😅😅😅
Upscale Italian resto inside the Four Seasons. Very classy, great for a group dinner honestly. Had a few mishaps with service when they forgot to jot down two dishes we ordered, but they were quick to remedy the situation. Cocktails were lovely and we got a bottle of wine to split amongst the group. The food was decent, with the standouts being the focaccia (literally changed my life lol), mafaldine, and branzino, which was so flaky and tender, set on top of cauliflower mash. Think I’d skip the carpaccio starter next time and opt for the burrata, and perhaps switch one of the pastas (probs the lobster linguini) out for another secondi. Skip the dessert and go to the ice cream shop in town. Was a bit $$$ but probs my fave place we dined at in Vail.
