Lowkey really liked every dish. The green tea salad was a bit underwhelming but the fried chicken, cod and pork belly were 🔥 Even the morning glory was so well spiced

Apparently this is Thai food so I guess I don’t actually hate the cuisine ? I expected banana steak or wasabi and peanut cocktail but nah everything was good except the oysters (shockingly. I guess I don’t like west coast creamy stuff??) I enjoyed the Cocktail the most! I recommend. Even forgot to share, twice! Sorry @callum

Much better w / o the prawn rolls. Would probably skip the steak and ribs next time, but overall really, really good. @chiti ate everything despite claiming to hate Thai food, so must be pretty good. No pic with @callum oops sorry! I really liked this place. Really really! I am a black cod guy!

Southeast Asian fusion food, founded by the chefs from the fancy korean restaurants (jungsik, atomix, etc). It was good but wasnt mindblowing for the price

New southeast Asian spot by the team behind Jungsik, and I think it’s got so much character and flavor backed by top-notch cooking. All of the small plates were amazing - beef tartare was spicy and tangy, chili eggs were surprisingly delicious (jammy eggs, battered and fried, with a sweet and slightly spicy sauce), and the Thai links were very unique (think baby sausages with an intense umami). The crab fried rice was great though not phenomenal, but I can see why people really like it. The short rib is a MUST; so tender, and the curry cut through the fattiness perfectly. We had to ask for an extra side of the naan because they only give you four small pieces to start. Cap off the dinner with the coconut sundae; it reminded me of the Samoa sundae from the Corner Store which I still dream about. Think this would be great for a date night, but I’d rather come back with a larger party so that we could order the entire menu. Intrigued by the pork belly, cod curry and some of the crudos that we didn’t get to try.

Overall was pretty solid, but the prawn rolls were not for me. The waiter told us the restaurant was famous for them. Prawn comes to ruin my day yet again!
