Reviews for you

Went for the Filipino kamayan feast, which you eat with the entire room at tables covered in leaves. This is a lengthy tasting menu (~2.5-3hrs) that takes you through a whole slew of flavors, and you can really only use your hands. Started out a bit rocky, not going to lie, as the flavors were very tart and vinegar-centric, which I just personally don't like as much. None of the small amuse bouche particularly wowed me except the chicken skin, scallop and the stew made with beef bits. The mains were out of this world though, starting with the egg noodle with crispy pork rinds and liver... so creamy and umami with crunchy bits of rind. The pork + rice + stew course was also so yummy - the pork skin was somehow crisped to perfection, and the flavors all just melted together so seamlessly, from the stew to the sides. Of the dessert courses, my fave was the one with tapioca and durian(?); the others were just ok. Overall, it's a lot of food for the price, and you can tell there is just a lot of heart and soul to the cooking and eating. They even gave us goodie bags at the end?? So precious.
