La nonna!! Second time going there and we went for blake’s birthday! I wish I took more photos because it was great. I will say I think i liked it more the first time than i did the second. First time i got the gnocci which was INCREDIBLE!!! The second time I got this Vodka sauce pasta. Also really good, i wanted more but blake ate all my leftovers 🙄
Honestly crazy it’s so hard to get a res at this place — La Bottega and Vendettas are both way better for about the same price and vibes. People were super nice and vibes were really good, but food was very very mid :’(. We laughed a lot though, so that was good. And they loved that we took pictures of our food lol.
Probably the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Not pictured was the crème brûlée because Lexi and I devoured it immediately. Services was meh as the waiters were nice but the simple things such as water and silverware took far too long.
Res was pretty hard to get, and the food was inconsistent at best? Of the starters, the calamari was good (very breaded though), but the rest were unmemorable. We got sooo many pastas, but most were either overcooked (gnocchi was almost mushy) or lacked depth of flavor. The gemelli and ravioli did stand out to me though, probably in part because the gemelli was perfectly al dente 😂 Overall, for the price, I’ve had much much better Italian food, but vibes are nice and service was great.
