Waitlist is weird - you go from 14->3 in 20min but then 3->1 takes an hour. There’s a nice Santa themed bar next door though. By far the best pho I’ve had but Aman says Nancy’s moms is better

May be the first Vietnamese restaurant in the city to make me think, “fucking finally.”

Idc what anyone says, dog water soup, the soup could not have tasted more bland than ever. The noodles were also pretty stale and clumped up together. I recommend people compare this to LA/OC or SJ Vietnamese food However, I do give the appetizers a good 7 because they were well made but could not really do a proper nem nuong roll Here’s an accurate photo of an AI-generated pho, because the pho tasted AI generated too

i think this is a pretty new place the vibes were def really cute inside. the starters were rlly good def unique the entrees were just okay i kinda prefer these more upscale viet places to not just do traditional dishes w nothing special cause i could get it for $10 in chinatown 🫥

They wanted us out, the place was packed, but Neil does what he wants and he wanted this place and this place is amazing. I thought I hated pho, but I just hate pho that isn’t this one. This pho was incredible. Didn’t even need siracha! Where’s your oar?

the Vietnamese beef carpaccio was like a 10 - so punchy and sour, a lil spicy if you get the Birds Eye chili. The bun Bo hue and pho were above average by nyc standards but not crazy

On the expensive side but very good, probably the best sit down Vietnamese I’ve had in Manhattan. A bit like Bangkok supper club for Vietnamese (though a bit cheaper and less inventive). Really solid food, fast service. The Calamansi spritz was so so good. Looking forward to coming back.

have FINALLY found a sit down vietnamese restaurant in the city with flavors comparable to Garden Grove, CA ordered the Bun Cha Hanoi, Cha Ca (grilled whole Branzino), and a Calamansi Matcha Spritz everything was great - I particularly liked how fresh and abundant all the veggies were and how sweet the fish sauce was. the Cha Ca was maybe a little too salty but balanced out with the veggies and sauces. also the Calamansi Matcha Spritz is one of our new favorite beverages in the city would definitely come back again, there are so many things on the menu I want to try! overall generous portion sizes & good quality for the price. Nikhil calls it the Bangkok Supper Club for Vietnamese food

This is a pretty new Vietnamese place and it’s easily my favorite in the city so far. The Wagyu Pho was really solid - really tasty and rich broth and the meat melted upon consumption. Pictured is steamed rice cake which had a great variety of textures. Ca Chien Nuoc Mam was very solid (deboned) fish; really easy to eat. Portions were great too, left very full.

This place just highlights why we need better Vietnamese restos in NYC. Nothing objectively bad, but not memorable as well at the price point.

New viet spot by the same owners as Thai Villa and Pranakhon. Good food, beautiful decor (much like its sister restos), and nice vibes. Starting from the apps, the banh xeo was a touch more fusion than we expected (waffle-taco shell instead of the egg crepe that is more traditional), but the sugar cane shrimp was fun. The mains were great - thought the pho Ha Noi was positively warm and cozy; the grilled whole branzino was a great deal of food for the price and came with this crazy good dipping sauce that we could not stop scooping up; the bun cha was the one I thought we could probs skip next time. We were super disappointed though that they’d run out of the banh mi….guess I’ll have to try it some other time. And no dessert menu (yet??).
