Definitely a great place to impress out-of-towners. Thick delicious hot chocolate and I really enjoyed the classic pastry as well. Great service and beautiful sitting area. My friend said this was one of the best hot chocolates of her life. $25 for pastry and drink. The other patrons were eating and it smelled good – it’s a café but closer to a restaurant.

There are not words to describe how upset and disappointed I was with this hot chocolate. I had high hopes because I had seen this on so many New York lists so I was willing to dish out $11 (?!), but it was a tiny portion and tasted like Nestlé hot cocoa powder in milk. Go to Venchis or Angelinas instead if you want a cup for the same price but not a scam

Went here after a show not expecting much because this was the nearest ramen place but so happy! The karaage curry rice was full of flavor, the pieces were huge and I was stuffed. Gg says the spicy tonkatsu ramen was good too. And the servers were so friendly! Will be coming back, they sat us immediately for dinner even tho we didn’t have a reservation

GOD TIER. In my time on this Earth, I’ve sampled a range of fries. Of these, my favorite variant is the truffle fry. And the best of the truffle fries (and thus all fries) are those of Chef Papa’s. Certainly, this establishment boasts a fine selection of Vietnamese food, but the truffle fries —salty, fluffy, crispy, and flavorful as they are— steal the show. Unprompted, my cousin (who considers herself a fry connoisseur of sorts) declared that these fries were the best she’s ever had. So when Infatuation comes out with their list of best fries in NY (I nominated these truffled pieces of perfection), be proud that you heard it here first. Bites of heaven, yours for $12. You will not be disappointed.

Attended Rotary Club meeting and then went to lunch at It!Italy Restaurant. Lots of Italian dish selections. Portions were good and my lasagna was meaty and rich tasting. Our District 7570/7610 Wheelchair distribution Team and the Argentina Rotarians enjoyed great camaraderie. Leave for home tomorrow. Added photos of our bus ride there.

If you come here you have to try the Matcha Koya!! I adored how the sweetness of the lychee and coconut milk balanced the matcha! Also loved the raspberry matcha cookie with its fruitiness cutting through the matcha flavor! So yummyyyy and the staff was super friendly and patient, was definitely worth the trek to FiDi!

Matcha latte was so tasty and so was the matcha raspberry cookie we bought. Baristas were super friendly and helpful too (I surreptitiously put hand sanitizer on my glove and the guy pulled out hand wipes and asked me if I’d rather use those and I said no and he gave me a sort of pitying look like “you sweet fool” because I’d also just asked if lattes always have coffee so honestly that’s the sort of support I need in life)
