i was happy i could sub out the bacon tempura for chicken <3 ngl i could taste the dish soap on the spoon …. and the noodles/soup was kinda salty…. but other than that it was yum and very filling and all the tempura was good

they dont do online waitlists so we had to physically stand outside in a line for 20 mins 😅 but it wasn't the worst broth was refreshing at first but it got rly salty LOL 🥴 i like the texture of the noodles tho

so good i love an affordable prix fixe menu shrimp empanada had the most wonderful texture and fish tacos were buss and rolled up in a shape that was accessible for ppl like me with poor taco eating form and u could also choose two “sides” that took up more than half of this extra large plate XD massive massive portions and one thing about me i love leftovers staff were funny n nice and music was lit just wish i lived closer 😩

ever since i started a beli streak last year i been trying to go to new places to rank new shit but THIS JOINNTTT i just keep going back frrrr they got the best 牛肉面 i ever had in my life (even as a non meat lover i find the beef very tender n broth very delicious) and the best 生煎包 ive had in nyc 😌😌 (thin skin, crispy bottom, enough soup, not too oily) i wonder if miss laoban recognize my face by now becausseeee

cookies were yummy, drinks were yummy, but lowkey the inside was a lil STANK 😆😆😭😭 the vibes were beautiful, flowers and pottery were beautiful, but it was maybe too pet friendly . usually when u walk into a cafe u expect to smell baked goods or tea or coffee idk something they sell but all i smelled was DOG and then the first thing i saw was the dog bowl near the door so i thought maybe there was a dawg in there but there was no dawg so like where was the smell coming from …… idk idk i’m also a dog hater so maybe i’m more sensitive .

apparently this place is on the michelin guide for houston so it’s always got a longgg ass line full of non asian people in chinatown …. it’s like every other spot in dunhuang plaza is only asian people except for this place 😂😂😂 so funny 🤓 anyway i thought it’d be overrated but it was p buss also this ramen ingredients literally said “5 different types of garlic” …… 😂😂😂😂 usually eating ANY garlic makes my stomach sound like ice spice is breakdancing inside but actually i didn’t have any side effects so that must mean it’s good quality shit …….
