Great food, always love to see Indian food / culture in luxury experiences. And actual luxury. My mark of a luxury restaurant is the waitstaff- in a scenario where only one of you can pass, do they step aside so you can pass first, or do they just barrel ahead and force you to step aside to make room? Safe to say bungalow is one where the staff lets you walk first 🙏 Also yes food was delicious favorite dish was the appetizer inspired by indori markets

I am so sorry I asked us to order the plantains. Whatever that one index bananas 😪 @andrea taught us (well only @callum has made it work) the greatest tip of all time - befriend the hostess and try to make another reso on your way out! I liked the butter chicken a lot, and the lamb that tasted like green chili. It was probably the best butter chicken I’ve had in my life, but I have a fear of dairy especially pre going out, so was not easy to enjoy! I’d order 4 butter chicken and 2 naan baskets if I went again! A great way to end quite the week! @nsharma seemed much more tired than @aman which I think is because of something called

New Indian resto that's been impossible to get a res for, by the same chef as Junoon who was also Master Chef India! Chef Vikas literally comes out and greets everyone... he was so so sweet and passionate. As for the food - it was definitely fun, creative and beautifully plated, but some of the dishes lacked a wow factor (the lamb shank was stingy on the meat and wasn't memorable; the shrimp cones that everyone raved about legit didn't taste of shrimp at all). However, the yogurt kebab (light cheese filling with a crispy fried outer shell) and lamb chops were great, as was the sheermal bread (think flat cornbread). The rose kulfi dessert was definitely skippable. The mango lassi was pretty cool as it was heavily infused with rose flavors, and the golden temple mocktail with passionfruit and mango soda was divine. All in all, it's a solid spot, but I probably won't be in a hurry to return.
