Burgers, lasagna, snap pea salad, crispy chili polenta bread, chocolate malt ice cream and rhubarb sorbet Banger after banger. Good ol American food, not complicated and downright yummy Would come again but eating at 5pm to secure the burger is mildly annoying

Great food, always love to see Indian food / culture in luxury experiences. And actual luxury. My mark of a luxury restaurant is the waitstaff- in a scenario where only one of you can pass, do they step aside so you can pass first, or do they just barrel ahead and force you to step aside to make room? Safe to say bungalow is one where the staff lets you walk first 🙏 Also yes food was delicious favorite dish was the appetizer inspired by indori markets

Chicken and Lu roe fan bowl, with popcorn chicken on the side. Had to show out for the Taiwanese men of Southern California. Iced tea was absolutely insane need to find it in bottled format

Great meal. Menu inventiveness matched that of some of the nicer restaurants I’ve been to in Europe/US. eggplant hummus, caramel gelato, and tomato/peanut salad were all bangers. Historic Portuguese building was cool (colonizers be gone tho fr), and nice tableware. 10/10 would come again.

Forgot to actually take photos of the food so here’s a photo of my whole family. Idk if I’ve had goan Indian food before but it slapped. The chicken 190 fried chicken and the sauce was insane and the goan prawn curry was so good as well. Butter naan was peak let the record show I think garlic naan is mad overrated, butter naan is og.

Was probably the first “fancy” restaurant I ever ate at in middle school. Burger has gone down in quality since the death of the great Michel Richard but still solid. (You know it’s cooked bc it comes with lettuce and tomatoes now og’s know good beef doesn’t need all those distractions) The chocolate bar for dessert is still a goated dessert of all restaurants, will be coming back just for that

Ima be real with you I’ve had Hainan chicken at like 3 places in my life but this is the only one in NY and it’s always so satisfying. My chinese friends from LA that grew up eating this often in say it’s good so I’ll take their word for it, always fills me up
