As a person that really enjoys fine dining, I think this is a very good place to start your fine dining adventure. This place takes traditional Korean cuisine and upscales it to a New York level. The service level was magnificent as I saw zero errors and the attention to detail was phenomenal. This place also varies, depending on which season you visit but, their signature seafood dish as well as the Wagyu platter is very good. I came here with my mom and she really enjoyed every single meal as she was very used to the Korean cuisine, but her experience got better with that New York twist. Also, I just want to point out that the dessert they served was Hotel restaurant level. Definitely come here on a special occasion.

As a LIC resident, I find this place to be a very convenient place to get mid-level Chinese food. I think it’s Shanghai cuisine but correct me if I’m wrong. The ambulance is great with a quiet setting and it and it is perfect for both lunch and dinner. I usually like to order a protein and dry pot cabbage for lunch. For dinner, I like to get their Peking duck which they serve in multiple portions which is very convenient if you come in a party of two. They also have fish as well as the typical Chinese food that we expect so there isn’t much surprise and it is a great place to play safe. Again, I would come here on a monthly basis.

I really enjoy this place because they’re bold and are willing to update their menu on a seasonal basis. They are able to bring seasonal Korean menus. As seen in my photos, I have a photo of the yellow tail. They are serving, which is very good. Also in the summer they were serving North Korea Korean style noodles. It might be a hit or miss depending on your taste buds but overall, I was very satisfied with the yellow tail that they are serving during the winter season. Some of the menu items might be pricey, but it is definitely worth trying. Also, this place is a bit more quiet compared to that other other bistros.

If you want fresh pork belly or any cuts of pork, this is the place to come. The wait time might be long if you visit during peak hours, however, if you go a little bit early, you’ll get a spot instantly. They’re fresh pork belly has always been my favorite since my college days. I really appreciate the service and the fact that they cook all the meat in front of you so you don’t have to hassle with burning your food. I think it has become a little bit pricey but if you still want to enjoy your pork, this is the place to go in K-town. FYI if you go during peak hours, it might be a bit loud.

This is by for one of my favorite Chinese cuisine that I ever had in New York City. I remember it used to be called Café China, but they have kept this place to maintain their tradition. The chestnut pork, dry pot, cabbage, and Mapo Tofu is amazing and not too spicy. I come here on a monthly basis so trust me give it a try.

I have been going here since my college days. The menu is consistent as well as the taste. The ambience is nice and it’s not too loud compared to that of other bars. Their Mentaiko noodle as well as their 인절미 pork has always been my staple. Also all their soups are very tasty so whatever you order, you are going to get a very satisfying meal. Make sure you make a reservation.

Everything on the menu was very good. Not too salty and not too bland. The whole fish was very good and all the curry dishes were very tasty. There are other good Thai restaurants but I would still come back here for the fish

The Xiao Long bao is on point. The portions are small so I recommend that you get 2 portions. The cumcumber salad tastes exactly as it looks. don’t have any photos of the other dishes but, I would give it a solid 8/10 just for having decent Xiao long baos

Still my top recommendation for warm korean soup. The 돼지 국밥 is very authentic and carries alot of meat inside. Very filling and all the side dishes are well paired
