Taco Loco is located right beside the docks and their four tacos and a beer combo for 12 bucks is pretty insane value, especially after Maro’s shrimp house charged me 5$ for a beer 😤 At this point, I feel like a lot of tacos in Mexico taste kind of similar, but Taco Loco’s fish tacos stand out because they’re super crispy, the meat is juicy and fresh. If this was a fish-and-chips joint, it’d be just as great. Also, I have to say their coleslaw is actually really good, and that’s coming from a self-proclaimed coleslaw hater. 挺好👍

If you’re the kind of person who’s cool with eating mediocre, overpriced food in a place that tries way too hard to be “trashy vibe” and just ends up plain trash while listening to old school west coast hip hop, then sure, maybe this is for you. But if I’m speaking my mind, this place is fucking dog water. There are so many better options in Los Cabos. It’s ridiculously overpriced for what it is, and the food isn’t even good. 真的是又贵又不好吃。And I gotta say this to my Chinese friends: 我真的觉得这老板对中国人有点歧视的感觉。当时店里就两三桌客人，有两桌是白人，一桌是我。那老板跟白人聊完天，居然直接跑到我背后坐着不理我，真的很奇怪。反正，fuck this place，别浪费时间了，去别的地方吃吧，傻逼餐厅。拉

If you’re into that kind of trashy, college bar vibe, you’re gonna love Taco Guss. There is a big variety of super delicious, dirt cheap tacos, and they’ve got a bunch of fun drinks. I ordered the Liquid cocaine and it sent me to the moon. Plus they have rice juice, which really appeals to the Asian palate. The staff is friendly, the vibes are immaculate, and even the other people eating there are chill and nice without being too loud. ALSO the only restaurant in Los Cabos so far to not beg customer for tips. Wow. Certified banger 夯

Mother Flower deserves a 4.9 rating on Google. The interior is super modern, and they’ve got an open kitchen. I had a lot of fun observing the various stations and learning about authentic Mexican cooking. The tacos were delicious, and the seafood pasta was on point. I’m really picky about seafood pasta. I like my pasta a bit al dente, and I like the white sauce to be creamy but not too heavy. They nailed it. The sauce clung to the noodles perfectly without feeling too rich, and they used fresh seafood instead of canned shellfish, which is a huge deal for me. The staff was friendly, the bartender was awesome, and the whole experience was just great. This place is the ultimate example of Xiaohongshu influencers going somewhere they don’t really know and ending up in a trash restaurant, they taste terrible food and then they have to write it up like it’s amazing and they had the best time in Puerto Rico. This place is a certified omega stinker. You can tell the moment you walk in and they charge you three bucks for a plastic bottle of water with their own label on it. It’s that bad. We only tried the seafood paella because Xiaohongshu recommended it, and let me tell you, it’s the worst seafood paella I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve had some really awful seafood paella in Old San Juan. The shellfish literally smells like it came out of a dumpster. It’s disgusting frozen seafood that they probably didn’t even bother to rinse off. Instead of spending 60 bucks on that piece of crap paella, you might as well buy $60 worth of cat food and feed all the stray cats in Old San Juan. You’d have a better day doing that. 在这里吃海鲜，回家就上天。

Baby Grill is a straightforward local neighborhood spot. Nothing fancy and not really a place tourists talk about, but the food is simple and fulfilling, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere feels genuinely local. Baby Grill 就像那种真正 local 的街坊餐厅。没啥 fancy 历史，也没见到什么旅游推荐，food 简单但满足，价格舒服，氛围普通又真实。如果你想体验真正“在波多黎各吃当地人吃的饭”的感觉，可以来试一试。 人上人

If you’re just on a short trip to Puerto Rico, I don’t really see the point of hitting up small Italian imitation restaurants like Tuttobene. It’s one of those places that’s fine if you’re staying long-term and you really need a pasta fix. I went there once, and after that I just bought my own noodles next door at Pueblo and cooked at home. Definitely a place you can skip if you’re looking for something more special. NPC级别的面。味道太普通了，和刚留学寝室里做的意面没区别。

Sheesh once the birthplace of the piña colada now made with pineapple juice concentrate and canned pineapples. The food is just okay, and everything is overpriced for what you get. If you want good piña colada, there’s plenty of local vendors along the beaches that uses fresh pineapples. If you’re looking for real Puerto Rican flavor, there are plenty of local cafés in Old San Juan that are way more authentic and way cheaper. And if you want to splurge on something fancy, there are actually some great fine dining restaurants nearby that are worth your money. Basically, there’s just no reason to stop at Barrachina. 拉到爆了朋友们

Bebo’s Café is GOATED. One of my favorite things there is their pulled pork platter, which is only about $10 and absolutely delicious. Just for a bit of context: if you want the best pulled pork in Puerto Rico, you have to visit“Pork Highway” (La Ruta del Lechón) in Guavate. But honestly, Bebo’s Café matches that quality right here in town. The vibe is great, filled with local families. Nice authentic cultural experience. Visited many times. 总之，这里真的很值得一试，尤其是想体验本地风味的朋友们，Bebo’s Café 的烤猪肉绝对不会让你失望。 夯!!
