Sheesh once the birthplace of the piña colada now made with pineapple juice concentrate and canned pineapples. The food is just okay, and everything is overpriced for what you get.
If you want good piña colada, there’s plenty of local vendors along the beaches that uses fresh pineapples. If you’re looking for real Puerto Rican flavor, there are plenty of local cafés in Old San Juan that are way more authentic and way cheaper. And if you want to splurge on something fancy, there are actually some great fine dining restaurants nearby that are worth your money.
