very seafoody, which I would not usually spring for, but I’m glad I did! A bit on the pricier side, and also the waiter was kinda pushy about us ordering more food, which I detest 😡

Fine dining is crazy as evidenced by our singular $9 goldfish. Honestly not something I would choose myself but our friend from out of town really wanted to go. The gochujang tuna collar was a really unique dish and fun to eat but a bit rare for my liking. Crab tagliatelle slayed.

Vibey seafood-focused resto by the team behind Crown Shy & Saga (both of which I love). The space is super chic, spacious and dark. We had to get the iconic cheddar goldfish to share - though by no means is it a must get. The heavy hitters included the halibut (think beef Wellington but with white fish), prawns, and the addicting crispy nori fries. Thought the crispy black rice and mackerel were skippable - the rice really didn’t taste like much at all. As for dessert, was disappointed by the olive oil cake - texture was too wet and cloying + came with pistachios even though we flagged an allergy (and they accidentally initially charged us for 2 cakes as well…). Overall, it was a nice dinner with some unique dishes, but was a tad inconsistent, including service. Not sure if I’ll come running back, esp considering the price point.
