Gosh… where do I start!? This place never misses. The brisket, the turkey, and those scrumptious beef ribs *mmmhmm* I can still taste those succulent fatty pieces of the delicious cows. The staff here just makes this a special experience for me every time… especially Erick! Gosh where I do even start with this guy too! His kind manner and the way he always makes me feel like a king here. I can go on an on about this place. And I will! Let’s start with the turkey, the finest birdies in the horizon with how juicy one bird can even get… and I should know! The beef rib reminds of one those fatty mistakes you made back in the day but taste too good in the moment to say no on lonely night. The brisket is the real star of the show, and also Erick. I will come everyday till I can’t!

austin classic! Luke’s brother mark was in town, so we had to hit it up 🍖 long lines but they move so quick; this place is a well oiled machine. i’ve heard this place can revenue $1 million in one week ⚙️ i’ve become so spoiled to bbq, i barely eat it now love the jalapeno sausages 🌭 and some moist brisket 💦 i know a guy on the inside so he hooked it up so fat.

final meal for the remaining new yorkers. after barton, I took ‘em to terry blacks. hard to beat the accessibility (open 7 days a week, line is never ridiculous) and quality here. there are other bbq spots that do stuff better for sure but terry blacks is 90% of the way there and overall is a great spot to take visitors. far from a tourist trap. got brisket, pork ribs, and sausage for meat (the big 3) and creamed corn (off the cob 😕), green beans, potato salad, and mac for sides. mac and potato salad were my favorite as usual. brisket was very solid but a lil dry in some parts. the crust tastes incredible tho which makes up for it.

- $250 for 7 people and we had a very little bit of leftovers of the sides but everyone was SUPER full - guys texas .. texas is doing something right .. i lost my mind at this meal but i was starved also beforehand so maybe that’s the key to enjoying food - sides: mac n cheese and corn are really good. cole slaw and potatoes are normal good. bread is pretty mid. we took the peach cobbler home to eat with ice cream - meat: ribs best, brisket, turkey, sausage - then after the meal you can go to see the meat smokers in the back and then this guy might come out of no where to tell you about the process of how they cook the meats, it was really great. apparently the flavor of meat depends a lot on the type of wood they use to smoke it, and austin has that good wood - very texas vibe. really liked it :D
