the interior design was so pretty and the versions of jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and tangsuyuk (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce) sounded so unique BUT IT WAS SOOO MID… i can’t believe that jjajangmyeon was $40+ like huhhhh…

XLB, sweet and sour shrimp, Chinese veg, lobster mapo, shumai, and shrimp toast were not pictured. But honestly everything here was just okay … truffle duck, XLB and shrimp were probably the only things that were a bit better than okay, but everything else was pretty unspectacular and felt like it was lacking in seasoning somehow.

Chinese Korean resto with a variety of fusion dishes. Came with a group of 5 and shared a bunch of their signature dishes, of which the jamppong, jajangmyeon and Peking duck stood out to me the most. The cucumber salad was also refreshing (sauce was tart), but a bit expensive for what it is. Will caveat that the Peking duck wasn't as crispy as I'd have preferred, but the flavor was there and kudos to Octo for using the traditional super thin wraps. The tangsuyuk was a total pass for me - flavorless without the sweet, sticky dipping sauce; would go for one of the fried chicken dishes instead. All in all, ambiance and service was good, but wouldn't say this was the best food I've had.
