THEY ONLY GAVE US AN HOUR TO EAT and tried soooo hard to kick us out :0 we were shooook HAHAHHA But besides that… commentary on food: This seafood jjajangmyeon was soooo good! It was made with japchae noodles which is different and I liked. But WARNING it’s very black HAHAHHA so would not recommend getting this one on a date cause it kinda gets everywhere 🤣🤣 the cod beignet was also yum especially the wasabi sauce that it came with but this fish is basically fried fish with tartar sauce haha We also got their popular kimchi jambalaya which was goood but a lil salty for me ;0 but a lot of ppl like this one! It’s also byob here so christine brought saero and beer~

As a southern Korean, this was one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. The boudin balls are a must and their fried chicken is insane. Service is incredible and I highly recommend.

Quite literally shook by how much I enjoyed this place (or perhaps I just enjoyed the company, idk). Super cozy (read: tiny) Cajun Korean fusion spot in Midtown East of all places - incredibly unassuming from the outside but once you’re inside, it’s like you’re family??? Idk how to explain. The number of times I was asked how the dinner was going would normally strike me as alarming, but I honestly didn’t mind at all because it felt like they genuinely cared. We did the dinner for 2, which comes with 1 snack, 2 sides, 2 entrees and a dessert. We got the two kimchi sides which were perfectly acidic and spicy - the green tomato kimchi slightly beat out the okra for me, but it’s just cuz it tasted so light and refreshing. The shrimp toast was a tad oily, but came with this squash kimchi and tangy sauce that cut through the greasiness perfectly. The grits & jjajangmyeon were incredibly flavorful - can’t go wrong with either honestly. The pecan pie dessert wasn’t my fave - may suggest the classic strawberry dessert instead next time. All in all, was a homey and delicious experience.
