wait WOW these bagels were SO GOOD the olive oil on the tomato 😱 and I usually don’t like Lox bagels cause they’re too fishy BUT THIS ONE wasn’t salty or fishy and soo yumm :0 and the bagel itself is sooo chewy and yummmyyy might be my fav bagel spot 🤔

The classics - we split half of each which is the way to go If I had to eat a whole one by myself I would be bored of it, but half whitefish and half lox was good Love that both halves have the seasoning and there’s no clear top/bottom No line in east village 🫡

Review #350 of Apollo Bagels on Taste 😁 i vowed never to return to this place after my bagel was burned to a crisp the first time I came. but I was in the area today and decided to give it a second shot. Thankfully the bagel was NOT burned this time, so we were already off to a good start. The toppings on the smoked salmon bagel are tastefully chosen - the dill and lemon juice are a really nice touch, and I'm surprised other places haven't copied this yet. as for the bagel itself (the most important part), Apollo is known for having a pretty unique sourdough bagel. I realized as I was eating it that it really does just taste like a open face sandwich on sourdough bread, except that the bread has been molded into something bagel shaped. Not that there's anything wrong with that - it was definitely delicious - but I'm not really sure what the bagelness is adding here. I like this place, but I think I'm just too much of a bagel purist to consider it one of my favorites.

I split the salmon bagel with my husband. It is quite big. Bagel was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfection! Price seemed reasonable, especially when shared.
