We went in for the standard-issue soufflé pancakes and were pleasantly surprised with this fried chicken-and-pancakes take. The honeyed japepenos added a nice bite! This might have been my favorite iteration of chicken and waffles-type meal. I haven’t had soufflé pancakes much so i can’t speak on how well-executed it is in that regard; they were eggy but in a pleasant way

Chinese spot in Palo Alto. All the Chinese relevance teams come here for team dinners so has high expectations. Didn’t take good pictures. Highlights were Peking duck … great but maybe a little more crispy than normal, and chili fried chicken … was actually a solid ratio of chicken to dried chilies. Would come again was neat

Service was great, unfortunately we sat outside which made dishes like the crab curry a little cold. Not as spicy as I remember, maybe again because we were outside. Zaab wings had this crazy lime dry rub that was soo addicting

Zaab wings and pork cheeks were great. Crab curry was okay. Wasn’t that spicy tbh which is fine but it had 2x chilies on the menu so was expecting more.

Pretty good south asian fast casual spot. Got paneer wrap today. You can tell the paneer has been grilled and it’s really soft. Phenomenal combination of crunch and brightness from salad and onions. Garlic habanero dip is pretty spicy. Couple of side notes. - The packaging also goes crazy lol. It’s shaped like this one Indian incense brand. - Owners are really sweet they def care abt doing a good job and are receptive to feedback. This place used to cost more but prices went down and are a lot more reasonable. Got 2 rolls for $12
