Pros: strong drinks, cute decorations
Cons: expensive, poor speaker quality, loud staff
Not bad! The drinks were on the strong side here! I had the Epo, which was a lovely dessert cocktail and my friend had the Takeo which was a twist on a martini. It was a bit pricey tho.
The service was decent and the decorations were very cute.
On their website and Instagram, they advertise this place as a listening bar with a cool, chill ambiance. The emphasis is on music. However, the staff was talking really loudly in the bar area (almost screaming) and the quality of the speakers wasn’t that great. Yes, city pop was playing but it didn’t feel like the center of the bar. I couldn’t really feel the music if that makes sense. If this was a cheap neighborhood bar, I could let it slide. However, it was 28 dollars for one drink.
I think there are better listening bars out there, so I’d check that out instead.
Drinks were yummy and I loved the speakeasy concept. Would definitely come again!
