The reviews were not proportionate to the quality of food. The muscles weren’t bad but it wasn’t clear that there would be no feta with the muscles lemon wine sauce. Also I had asked for coffee, which took forever to come out. When I got it, it was a small espresso cup and cold. I asked her to re-heat it and she said yes and mentioned that she was preoccupied so that’s why it got cold. I was a bit frustrated because the restaurant was quite empty. Also the coffee was very mediocre and she charged me 6 dollars. Also the prices were actually a bit on the expensive side for a mom and pop shop. The bill was handwritten rather than printed, which made it a bit hard to read. Overall, I think if the prices were cheaper I could justify it, but I don’t think I’d come back

The food was spectacular here! I came in knowing that I wanted the Al pastor pizza because it sounded so unique. It was fantastic. The braised pork was perfectly flavored paired perfectly with the salsa verde. I also thought the pineapple ricotta was so creative and such a nice twist compared to putting just regular canned pineapples. The dessert was also fantastic! Usually, I don't get desserts at restaurants, but we saw a neighboring table order sundae and just couldn't miss the opportunity to try it. At first, I was worried it would taste artificial and like medicine since that's the danger of ordering cherry desserts. We were not disappointed! The sundae was delicious and not too sweet. We polished it off! The service was also great too! The staff kindly let me sit on the table to wait for my friend when most restaurants usually make you wait until all parties are there. They also let my friend and I sit for quite some time on the table chatting. Overall, very nice staff! The restaurant ambience was great! Lots open space and natural lighting.
