I am so sad to announce that this place was actually really good 😭 also there is no line on weekends or weekdays before 9:45, but when we left at like 10:30 the line was already to the edge of the block!!! ‼️‼️‼️ It tasted electric. It was crazy. I think probably much more enjoyable in the glass with the ice. Truly yummy. I’m very happy that I didn’t like the yuzu Madeline because too much glaze. Anyway definitely recommend to matcha lovers!!!! I usually only like sweet matchas like kijitora!!!

so worth it for 6 grams of matcha for $9. they make it right in front of you and look at that colorrrr!! the most hyped place ever but it’s def one of the best if not the best. everyone slid up on my story…go here if u want dms😎😎😎 i would recommend getting less matcha like 5g because apparently it makes you jittery. also get it sweet with reg milk or another type that is NOT oat bc it made mine a little more bitter than everyone else’s. really love the matcha flavor at this place even though i usually don’t like it unless it’s balanced out also ran into some performative males outside

They have everything down to a science in there and it is perfection- water filter, temperature, measurements, whisking technique, level of sweetener. Matcha taste 9.5 10 umami bright strong but not bitter Color 10/10 color was insane Ratio of matcha: perfectly strong like I like it Aesthetics: gorgeous space to chill in I took home their matcha Tin it was around $30 it comes with very little but it did make an awesome latte even at home. For real matcha lovers. No flavors - no flavors needed though!!

got the matcha latte with no sweetener because i wanted to try the flavor profile of the matcha they use uji matcha i forgot what kind but it was very vegetal and astringent caught me off guard but the ambience was super nice and workers were nice. Matcha was strong which i liked but i prefer a stronger matcha with a bit less vegetal notes and more nutty notes i didnt mind the bitterness after a couple more sips it was actually very pleasant and if i were to buy their house matcha i’d use it for usucha and lattes. Typically if im making matcha i use something for vegetal for usucha only and something nuttier for a latte . Cheesecake was alright not my favorite but they had lots of other flavors.

the cheesecake was sooo soft and yum! always a line here but u can tell they’re very serious abt their matcha—i got the matcha latte skim milk mildly sweetened, it was p good (8/10?) but a little bit watery maybe bc of the skim milk. i wouldn’t wait here for more than 30 min outside tho but it’s worth going once for the experience

We waited on the line outside for about 45 min lol The line is only long because they whisk every single matcha drink and calls each customer to watch the whole process. Reminds me of the matcha place in Kyoto called Gokago. Ngl i was surprised that i actually really enjoyed the iced matcha here. I thought it would be at least $10 for a drink like Sorate but it was about $8 and change. The yuzu madeline was good, u can really taste the yuzu. The hojicha ice cream was creamy with medium strength of hojicha flavor. Delicious tbh. Panna ice cream tasted like the white rabbit candy. Would go back but I hope the line is shorter next time 😭

update: never coming back here AGAIN. matcha had me tweaking for days. never had so much caffeine at once ~1 hour wait.. be prepared but they give you an umbrella while you wait outside matcha foam was perfect, rich taste 🍵 hojicha ice cream scoop was incredible 🍨 they talk to you n stuff when they prepare your matcha >< very interactive
