Finally got a res to via carota! Pro tip: try lunch Saw my coworker there and he raved about the green salad. It was good, but even I (an avid salad enjoyer) have to admit… it’s really just a salad. Pasta was all good but other Italian places of similar price point / res difficulty far surpass IMO. Tiramisu slayed.

Via... Carota It was good. Definitely good. But maybe... Italian food has a peak? I don't know. I don't think it's as good as it's hyped, but if you want solid Italian food, I'd add this to the contenders for top spots.

Walked in on a Wednesday - waited 2 hrs (well, someone else did 🥺). The food was good and vibes were sooooo cute, but probably wouldn’t come again if there is a wait. Of the starters, my fave was the nduja arancini followed by the fig bruschetta. Despite all the rave reviews, I didn’t really love the green salad?! The Cacio e Pepe 100% hit though; probs best I’ve ever had (not that I have it that often, so take it with a grain of salt). That dish alone would make me reassess my patience with waiting in lines.
