was craving a guinness something FIERCE after a gritty week at work. dead rabbit is prob the best place downtown for one, but be prepared to pay a lil extra ($10 instead of the typical $7-8). the guinness hit exactly as I hoped. we had a fire inkind deal we were trying to hit so we balled out more than usual. also got a frozen irish coffee which i’ve had before and is pretty solid but overpriced ($18). i’d prefer the one at nickel city but no complaints with this one. we split some sausage bites, fish and chips, fried chicken, and an egg thing. sausage bites were very good with a nice snap and flaky pastry wrapping. fish and chips were eh. not really that strong. chicken was okay but the menu said “contains allium” so not sure what’s going on there. maybe stay away if you are allergic to metal. the egg was awful. it was $15 for a single egg. not sure how I let manny convince me into this. overly salty and not that warm. overall I enjoyed the vibe here but at full price I would not get food here again. good drinks spot tho!
