Suuuuper fun resto behind South Soho Bar. Felt very funky and artsy, with a lively crowd both at the bar and in the restaurant itself. Would highly recommend a reservation (which isn’t all that hard to grab). Food is French-inspired, but by no means is it traditional. Got the hamachi crudo with strawberries and escargot to start; hamachi was light and tart from the fruit whereas the escargot was pretty salty with a decadent sauce. The mains were pretty great. The cheeseburger was fantastic - smashburger-esque with a soft brioche that wasn’t too bready. The stuffed breaded chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful - honestly kinda floored by how much I liked it. The spaghetti was good - lots of mussels & seafood with a slight kick to it; def not the best pasta I’ve had ever, but I’m not mad about it. The duck was the only main I was slightly disappointed by - the portion was small for how much it cost and it didn’t feel very special. Desserts were fine, but not my fave. Would honestly skip and go for an espresso tini instead. Drinks are fun - love that they offer so many different types of cocktails. Will say the service was incredibly slow… dinner was legit 3 hours LOL, but it was a busy night and everyone was profesh. Would say this would be a fun pre-going out or girls night dinner spot.
