Belated bday din w sab @ dhamaka. Lowkey very hyped as I thought it was quite mid??? Paneer - rly tasty Minced chicken - so spicy Chicken - too rich and buttery. Had a stomach ache after Lamb - rly good but too rich Rose ice cream - tasted like rose smelling hand cream I forget the name but the other dessert was rly good - pistachios gave it a nice cronch Was rly excited to try dhamaka but it was average overall. Apps were good, entrees were meh, dessert was solid. Maybe I should try semma next????

Came with a group of 5 and sat in the covered patio area; was a fun casual vibe. Got the malai lassi which was a creamy, yogurty drink - surprisingly not that sweet but def pretty rich. For starters, we got the paneer tikka (the paneer was SOOO fluffy), Kashmiri lamb loin (tender, bit creamy), and butter pepper garlic crab (rice dish with crab on top - the meat was extremely fresh and generously portioned - highly recommend). We got the goat meat (rara gosht) entree - flavorful, a bit spicy, and the famous gigantic lamb biryani (I didn't like this one as much - just didn't stand out as much, but it's a fun photo). Didn't really feel any of the desserts. All in all, better than the 3.9 it has on Yelp, but also not mindblowing!!
