Dongpo Pork: 10/10 SO TENDER and melt in your mouth~! Sichuan Chili Fried Chicken: 9/10 I couldn’t stop eating this VERY addicting BUT baaad for the stomach HAHA Dan Dan Noodle: 7/10 good but nothing special Fried Rice with Shredded Duck: 7/10 VERY heavy on the duck flavor

@connor still hasn’t given us a block feature but life moves on 😪 … Welcome back @nang !!! Top dishes in order: Dan Dan noodles, Fei-hong fries, wontons in chili oil, and sweet sour ribs I’ve only ever had thick sesame/peanut-y Dan Dan sauces before. This one was slightly acidic and salty and reminded me of this dry braised pork noodle dish I love in taiwan 😋 Also randomly came with pea shoots which is a top tier veggie. Highlight was getting to hear @b review and compare it to his number 1 in the city. If you haven’t read and bookmarked his review, DO IT NOW. Chili wontons were standard but how could you go wrong. I wish we could’ve kept the chili oil sauce for some of the entrees (NO SRIRACHA CONNOR) Fries had a light crisp to them — maybe wish they were a tad spicier. But texture was near perfect Crab tofu needed more seasoning. I don’t get the hype around this dish. I forgot about the fried rice. Fish maybe could’ve been a bittt more seasoned but I was less upset about it — pretty standard steamed fish. Would probably opt for the fish blossom if I go again. Got the suntory story drink. a fan! Light and subtly sour

I love New York and the people in New York! This was the worst fish I’ve had in my life I’m p sure. They laughed at me when I said it needed siracha or something. Honestly, all of the mains were p plain: fish, duck fried rice noodle, and crab tofu. The small plates were so good. I was concerned that this place was better than birds of a feather during the small plates, but they showed their true no competition colors when the mains came around. I loved my drink and again these people! Not pictured: @nang who is back! Also @b please add price <3 Evil fish.

egg custard buns siu mai dan dan noodles were good fish wontons tofu fried rice were dece everything else was ok mala fries, slightly overrated fish got more hate than it deserved. they just made the mistake of eating it without the sauce underneath make no mistake tho these dan dan noodles are better than 95% of manhattan ones they do not hold a candle to szechuan house still
