just got the burger here.
highly priced but it was a top notch burger. juicy and perfectly cooked. bun was really good. my only issue was the jump scare of blue cheese flavor that I got when biting into it. not sure what added that flavor but it was not disclosed on the menu. :/
fries were very good as well, def an 85-90th percentile fry. crispy and I think they were double fried.
ambiance here is elite as well; inside the driskill hotel.

I’ve been before just for a ~$15 beer 🍺 and pool, but this time I actually ate.

• Phenomenal. Legit top 5 burger in Austin territory.
• Thicker patty than your typical smash — more presence, more beef 🥩
• Cheese was insane 🧀
• Technically cheddar, but had this subtle blue-cheese-esque funk that added depth
• Either intentional or deliciously mysterious (I don’t ask questions)
• Crispy onions = perfect texture
• Ketchup was shockingly good
• I’m usually anti-ketchup-on-burgers 🚫🍅
• But even I had to respect it

👉 Possibly better than Clark’s. (not considering price)

• I’d honestly take these over KG BBQ lamb assuming equal portions
