really cool spot parking lot is really dark 😱 got the most popular dish. it was good but the whole dish was the same flavor. first bite was great but got bored midway

very solid green curry here at dee dee. a lil spicy but I was able to handle it with only a mild stummy ache the next day 😎 they have a semi-brick and mortar here. I wish the containers they gave were more conducive to eating curry but the price was very fair for the portions. very flavorful. vibe here is pretty incredible. feels very east austin and glad a spot like this is on the south side. def worth checking out just to hang. the coffee shop here looked cool as well.

we curded out on tuesday at newly renovated culver’s! the curd burger did not reach expectations but was not a bad experience. probably won’t get it again but down to try more at culver’s

post run club Culver’s trip. last week they were closed due to renovations, this week they welcomed us with open arms and a freshly decorated interior. main motive of the trip was to try the curd burger™️. I normally get a side of cheese curds but today I tried the onion rings (since the curd was already on the burger). also ordered a root beer float which was phenomenal. the curd burger itself only had one patty which was a lil disappointing. other than that it was very similar to the standard butter burger with the addition of a massive cheese curd on top. I wish the cheese curd was a lil more gooey. it was soft but no big cheese pull. I enjoyed it as a limited item but will be going back to my typical double burger order with a side of cheese curds. culver’s is def a top three fast food in my opinion; sides are great, burgers on point and the shakes/custards also are very consistent. 😊 last pic is of lily trying to claim she ate here even though she only stole a bite from someone 🤔

i am only reviewing the soup. they do not sell pizza at the soup peddler unfortunately. this is one of my austin favs. i love their smoothies and soup. i think their sandwiches are just okay, but i’m picky with my sandwiches and ik a lot of people who like them. my friend bought me a quarter gallon bag of tomato basil soup bc my cat died :( it lasted me a whole week! so yummy and comforting. i added heavy whipping cream to it at one point and that was fuego. they also have rotating soup types and drink specials everyday of the week! 🍅

reading terminal market stop 1 the line for this place was insane. a lady we talked to that had just gotten 2 dozen donuts said this was the best donut shop ever. I do not agree with the donut flavors my dad picked out bc there were some that looked way better and I would’ve preferred a wider variety of flavor types, but I had wandered off somewhere else. anyways, solid donuts, not the best I’ve had. very sweet. the sugared pumpkin was my fav 🏆

friendly staff. vibes definitely felt like we were in philly. they had a wall of pictures with famous people that had come in, but I only recognized like two people. my dad’s sandwich came out first and he ate the whole thing before the others were ready which was a little weird. it was really hot inside so we walked to find somewhere else to sit. I thought it was good, but I honestly can’t tell the different cuts of meat apart, that could just be me though. I also had to add mayo, mustard, and horseradish to mine to give it more flavor. overall, solid first real philly cheesesteak experience 🔔

hello i’m reposting this review bc I accidentally had it down as a restaurant and it was messing up my other review ratings. sorry sorry sorry forgot to take a pic but had to go here bc of the name duh! also last boba run before taking piper to school :(( I got a mountain something tea with mousse and coconut jelly. unique teas and they have little jars of them that you can smell. mousse was a little sweet, I prefer the saltier cheese foam, but still good and creamy. you can only add one topping and flavor, but they give you a lot so that made up for it. some drinks you can’t add anything to which was lame bc I wanted a pineapple milk tea with boba, but what I got was good so it’s okay! and they came with a cute little string handle! 🐼

reading terminal market stop 2 tbh these could be from two different places, but I think they are both from this cajun spot. cornbread was fire. very nicely seasoned and textured fries. good catfish. shrimp gumbo hit the spot 🦐

pbbj banana whip. yum! not my first choice for toppings but they were out of the coconut milk whipped cream, so my sister picked this one instead. decent serving size, 3 of us shared this one, but I could definitely eat one on my own. all homemade toppings & fresh fruit 🦧

truck is right outside the tiniest bar in tx (that’s the name of the bar) they have open mic stand up every tuesday and thursday this food was literally scavenged. lily found a doordash order that was never picked up i only had a bite bc i have class (and tmj). pretty solid

I only remember to take a picture after i’ve already eaten half of it *sigh* I love this place except I wish they did half sizes or something smaller and I would love a dairy-free option ube ice cream with coconut flakes chopped in and fruity pebbles on top 👾
