I’m not sure about Memory Look anymore,, It was such a huge thing two yrs ago bc there were not much of matcha cream top einspanner places in LA. But now, i think their flavors are not as competitive as other places and very expensive ($8.50 - $10) I wouldn’t go to Memory Look anymore,, it was too sweet and less flavorful.

There’s finally matcha, hojicha, cream top cafe in SB! Whenever I go up to Santa Barbara for work, Dune was the only place for coffee. Tried Kin Bakeshop and their Hojicha Latte was decent :) Parking was amazing and there were lots of students.

HANDS DOWN one of my FAVORITE cafes in LA when it comes down to ambiance. LOOVE their kitschy yet hip interior with lots of cute accent colors ❤️🤍💚🧡 Very open air space to enjoy LA weather and vibe. In the back alley side of the cafe, when you pass through the mirror walkway, there was a place to sell cute ceramics and other stuffs. I ordered Goldblum (orange latte) with oat milk and price was reasonable for LA latte scene ($6.75) and they use bigger size cup :) It was not too sweet and had pleasant orange flavor in coffee. Loved it and Im definitely going again with my friends 🧡

This family owned restaurant was amazing to try Khao Soi specialized spot. Their Chicken Khao Soi was amazing and the creamy khao Soi was one of the best original tasting thick creamy curry soups I've had in LA. The owners were so friendly and the service was amazing :)

Pretty good acai bowl + 100% fresh fruit smoothie. The best part was their AFFORDABLE PRICE $$ Acai bowl was basically a smoothie bowl so consistency was pretty watery but they give you some good aesthetics + fruits. I also got their blue smoothie - it was sweet and creamy with coconut flavor. Greek yogurt parfait was SUPER GOOD! Thick consistency + creamy flavor. I loved it the most. Highly recommended when ur at Chiang Mai

Hands down for ramen in San Diego BUT you need to be ready for an hr to 1.5 hrs. I got their chashu ramen and Nagoya style fried chicken. As they advertised as non-msg, non-gmo, I could taste that their broth was creamy yet not as oily as other ramen places. Noodle was not soggy but v good :) Nagoya style fried chicken was pretty good but tasted like regular soy sauce based korean style chicken. Fyi- this place was in Michelin guide for SD 2024

Food was good for the price. Squid ink pasta was very good. It had super soft octopus which i loved 🐙 Truffle cheese pizza was honestly ok. Couldn’t taste truffle well. Bread with olive oil for an appetizer was AMAZING. Olive oil was super aromatic & bread was crunchy + soft + warm. Cute vibes and every Monday they have 20% off pizza deal.
