okay the food was good (mostly… water tetelas & flavorless cochinita)! but i was rage baited so hard by my family and the service. like this restaurant actually makes no sense dude 😭 lowkey $$$ and like…no water, no napkins, no salt, no utensils. everything came out wrong. there’s also no system for distributing the food you ordered. instead of plating each item by person, they plate it completely randomly. or plate it by food type. evrrything looks the same on the surface so it is hella confusing to find whats yours. also they give u thr wrong thing. so u order (hard) and then u just grab random stuff

they have huaraches! yay. finally good tasajo ans chorizo as well which i was not expecting. cafe de olla mid. plain hot choc my ideal—fruity and not too thick. chocolate chai was also different from any other chocolate chai. perhaps fhe first high effort chocolate chai also this was the most bizzare server experience i have ever had. he gave us the menu and immediately asked us to order. was bad at explaining everything. walked away while we were ordering 5 times. got one persons order and then just stood there back turned to me and then walked off. wouldnt listen when i tried to order! like i was just talking to air bro. what 😭

this is for the oaxaca location bc thats not on taste. best bars by farrrrr of anything i’ve tried here. the color variation of the varietals was perf. criollo & trinitario were super creamy and rich. hot chocolate was good too, however i am very irritated bc i thought i was getting a flight but instead i was kidnapped for two hours and forced to endure a chocolate tasting. it would be educational and unique and great if i were a diffwrent person. i work in chocolate and my mom works in chocolate so i actually prefer suicide to attending another goddamn chocolate tasting or workshop. i cant

guys the strawless cup lid is killing me. i think the mexican turtles should suffer more bc iced coffee with no straw is crazyyuy. good solid plain coffee no flavors

insane interior design. gorg. i was expecting to hate bc every single thing on the menu had 1) ingredient i hate. but my food was actually super good. one app was enough. bread and tostadas were actually good

had to run it back. chicharon with salsa verde is best taco. gouda + pepper was interesting. avoid picadillo + chorizo y papas. barbacoa kind of fatty but it is chill.

my smoothie bowl was extremely amateur. small bowl which is wrong. u need a huge surface area for bowl & toppings. super super watery. not any flavor. also fruit was not fully cut. slices still connected.
