First time experiencing Omakase and although it was pretty pricey, overall had a fun experience and ended up ordering more after the courses and feeling full! - Intimate and interactive environment with the chefs and people around - Quality of sushi felt fresh meanwhile delicious and satisfying (imo) - 15 Course Menu

One of the newer omakase places that is in the mid-tier range in terms of pricing ($89 before any add-ons). We were super lucky and squeezed onto the counter when we walked in on a Thursday night. I'm not sure if they do this for all the sessions but because we were the final session, they gave us all (unlimited) sake and we would cheers with the chefs every once in a while. The fish was surprisingly decent but obviously not top tier given the price range. However, I was still stunned by a few pieces (salmon, eel, and the final yellowtail oshinko hand roll - who knew that'd be such a lit combo!) and the chef we had was SO friendly. He spoke Chinese and was super excited to talk to us since we could also speak. Would come again for the friendly service and fun experience.
