after a mediocre showing at hattie b’s where I ate less than I was expecting due to the lack of wings, I was desperate for a pick me up. sonic did not deliver. from mid to worse, I ordered a side of onion rings and an oreo sonic blast. onion rings tasted like they added sugar to the breading? the ratio of batter to onion ring was off as well. this was all made worse when manny ordered shake shack at poker and mogged me with his onion rings from there which looked awesome. the sonic blast was tragic. many places do the same thing (blizzard at DQ, mcflurry at McDs) but for the blast was far and away the worst i’ve had. the oreo crumble they used was soft which ruined the experience. clearly they had been sitting out for days. will not be back any time soon. haven’t had sonic in years. now I remember why.
