Was 20 minutes late because had to take a little call and they still hadn’t taken our order 🥹. Anyway service was not the best and my tornado was truly awful (very sad) but it was completely made up for by how perfectly they made the burrito. Idk what they did this time but it was truly, truly amazing. Great work!

Happy birthday to me🎂 loved celebrating with this bunch at our favorite place. I had the steak tostada~ a crispy tortilla layered with beans, a salad😄 guacamole and steak with a side of hot green chili to pour over~😋

Of course we had to come to the Rio to celebrate Mumsey Birthday!! I got the steak burrito with beans on the inside, baked, with green chili! It was sooo delicious! Of course got a couple margs that were great but unfortunately always take forever to arrive!

Lunch at The Rio was fun and yummy! Timo and I actually ordered our own meals this time because he was starving. Of course after eating all the initial chips and salsa before our meals arrived we were regretting not sharing. I had 2 steak tacos 🌮 with corn tortillas and refried beans and rice for my side. So delicious, despite the chips and salsa, I finished it all. 👍👏👏😋 Enjoyed with a delicious tornado for my beverage (IYKYK)

Hehe The Rio is probably our families most visited restaurant and that’s fine by me. We came to celebrate Ki’s birthday which involved her taking a birthday shot and Baba pulling a shot out of no where to take with her! My steak burrito was soo good and baked always makes it better! Ah, what a classic. The Rio Grande. This place is literally apart of our fabric…a deeply personal and symbolic place. We’ve been coming here for over 28 years, and it was the very first place we brought each of our kids as newborns. It feels like home and is always the one place everyone can agree on. I love it, and today the food was as good as ever! Extra spicy green chile, melted cheese, fluffy eggs and black beans. Superb. Rio is also known for their margaritas, and they do not disappoint. Being here with family is a blessing I cherish every time.

So after a brief time of kicking one of the most iconic meats to ever exist off the cliff…..the Rio is now making pork great again 🇺🇸 Harlow and I had the pork breakfast burritos with green chile, eggs and potatoes and Fin had a bowl of pork green chile, black beans and tortillas. Everything amazing!!! Ya baby ya 🤠

Food was so tasty that I forgot to take pictures until after it was already basically gone. While I was eating I saw my teachers from elementary school and they watched me scarf down my burrito which was a little embarrassing but that’s ok. Overall tho I was all very good and tasty👅👅👅

My food came out last, which would not have happened if they’ve seen my taste reviews. Expensive little tacos did not bring me much joy which is disappointing for how easy they are to do right. I would recommend dining and ditching it here. Seems like it would be easy and they wouldn’t care given the way the service is. I usually love coming here so it was a disappointing experience.

This hurts me as much as it hurts you. I pray tonight was but a fluke, and not what this once fine establishment has come to. The steak, chewy. Perfectly seasoned but just off. On the border of fine and great. But if I had given it great, it would have only been out of respect to the Rio’s legacy, and I’m not willing to ruin my taste profile for the Rio’s legacy. I’m sorry. The service score speaks for itself. I will not elaborate. I do not blame the server for her circumstance, but I must give it a fair score. The neon sign was cool, but everything else is just fine. I cannot and will not move from fine to great for such gimmicks. Actually maybe I would for like 2 more. Again I’m sorry. I will definitely try again because I expected to give at least a food great. But this just may be what happens after time. Even Rafael Nadal retires. Maybe just go to cafe mex :/.
