This place was peak in Rome. They had the grannies grinding the handmade pasta in the windows. “We put them there so you see us doing it”. That’s respect. This place has a huge line full of tourists, just like Raki in Sorrento, and shocker, it was the best just like Raki. The line was pretty long (about to the end of the block) but we were seated within 15 minutes (not even enough time for a David to grab a nearby gelato). The carbonara was so good. They love guanciale in Rome. It’s pig cheek, tastes kinda like bacon. But that shit is so fire in the carbonara. I remember Ceci always wanted it for her carbonara. This was way better than the carbonara she made. The gnocchi would melt in your mouth and we got the oxtail and it was fire. Anyway after a drought of good food in Rome this was very nice. You’re welcome when you’re on taste in Rome for this review.
