ok much better for dinner than lunch. bread and dips were fire. rlly liked how the lamb came w the onions pickles and lettuce it helped balance it out a lot. sticky toffee pudding was really good but nothing super crazy. sweet potatoes were too filling but the sauce it came w was crazy

Although Nura claims to serve “Indian-accented New American fare”, the menu felt ethnically ambiguous (in the best way possible) and reaffirmed my enjoyment of such things.
Rolls > nahn but both were worth getting, the Japanese sweet potatoes and yogurt were unanimously top but I also enjoyed the tuna quite a bit. The salad by itself would probably be too much, but holistically it was perfect as a refreshing and very acidic dish to an otherwise rich collection of tastes (flavors, not the app). The only main we got was braised lamb and it was somehow the worst thing, still passable.
Very solid value too as we shared 7ish things and came out to be around 50 per person tip included. Still punching the air from missing Theodora but Ally did not miss here. Time for my nightly licks.
Breads and dips are always a banger here
Surprise bangers:
- Japanese sweet potato 🍠 delish and soft and tons of diff flavors going on
- lamb kofta was rlly juicy and the sauces were on point
- dirty rice idk what made it dirty but it was good
Roasted chicken - used to come with okra but now it’s kinda plain, skip
Grilled prawns - they told us to eat the whole thing??? Shells included??? These shells were so fricking hard and definitely not meant to be eaten???

Food was mid af, but vibe was incredible haha. We ran into Eva too so that was a nice surprise :). Ally said it’s good for dinner, so will give it another shot for that. Vibe was so good though, so pretty! Also they were out of like everything by 12-ish when we went.
