this plot of land is forever cursed to have mid shabu shabu. the renovations do look nice and overall aesthetic pretty solid. the soup base was interestingly bland and actually held back by the sore lack of sauce bar. salad bar was just fine, nothing interesting. having a self serve curry was new but why have it if the curry is mid anyways. the yuzu green tea was just generic over sweetened asian slop, unlimited i guess worth it for 3.55$ but definitely nothing wrong with sticking with the hot green tea for free. the meat quality was fine, just don’t spend extra 20$ for the “wagyu” menu if they’re gonna give away the extra wagyu they had at the end of the night and it was weirdly tough (i eat blue asf too). the pitcher of sapporo was a nice touch to the experience. tldr: overpriced for the experience but the experience was fine. maybe go back for the cute waitress
