Old favorite neighborhood omakase place. It’s always been a good QPR, but food this time felt not quite as great as previous visits, though still quite solid. Eel and pate handroll was the highlight, we ended up adding another round at the end. Other pros: It’s BYOB which is nice, staff are friendly and we always end up chatting with them throughout the meal, and there’s a 4% discount for paying cash.

$78 12-course omakase in LES. Honestly one of the better omakase experiences in this price range, if not the best and it's BYOB. The pieces were creative and fun, and the fish tasted fresh too. The atmosphere is more casual, so perfect for friends and family. You have about an hour - they don't rush you out, but the pieces definitely come quite quickly one after another. Would come again.
