went to lin asian bar on the last day of my brother’s visit to austin. phenomenal. i’ve been here several times before as I am lucky enough to live in the neighborhood; my other brother matt actually put me on to this place. when he lived in brownsville he would come up to austin with friends and this was one of their favorite spots. started off with some dim sum; soup dumplings and shrimp har gow. both were top notch. easily the best dim sum in austin in my opinion (beats out 1618). also had egg drop soup as a starter which came with the lunch entree. I didn’t know there was gonna be corn off the cob 😳 inside so that was a bit of a jump scare. still was good soup. entree I got was the orange peel beef. beef was tender and tasted great. sauce was a lil toooo much but with the rice it balanced out good enough. idk if you were supposed to eat the orange peels but I did. tasty. also including a photo of the water situation. nice cup provided with ice. filled up regularly. two thumbs up on the water front. cool mural here as well!
