My appetizers were amazing! I got the chili wings and the gyoza. My entree however was not. I got the beef rice, my first reaction was “tv dinner” 🥲 It wasn’t nasty, just not appealing to me. I was a little dissatisfied seeing unseasoned beef on top of plain rice with a “beef” sauce to pour on top. The beef sauce reminded me of those kid cuisine beef microwave dinners ….. I don’t mean to be disrespectful about that, just my first reaction. I sent it back and just ordered more appetizers. My waitress was really nice and accommodating. I also tasted a few other entrees that were at the table and wasn’t WOWd but it wasn’t horrible. If it’s your first time having ramen, you won’t really have anything to base it from and may enjoy other items. I’d stick with the ramen. Not the best ramen, but others who ordered seemed pleased. I enjoyed the environment and the servers were very hospitable and kind. I believe the owner or manager personally checked in on us and explained dishes to us thoroughly. He even offered to take our picture at the end. All in all, the food was ok, appetizers were AMAZING, customer service was great, atmosphere was very cozy and cute. This would be a cute lunch date if you’re looking to try something new in the city.
