When you walk in, you’re handed 2 trays of tea boxes to smell which immediately brought me down memory lane. It’s super cozy inside — decor is simple but functional. We got the black tea basque cheesecake. Flavor was more akin to an egg tart custard. Like most tea-flavored desserts, it was very lightly “tea” infused. Texture was not giving creamy cheesecake, but if you treat it as a mousse cake with no other expectation, it’s honestly a pretty solid slice. The SOUR PLUM BROUGHT ME BACKKK. Sweet potato is life, and my grandma would be happy that they gave me cuties 🍊 for “health” Been to too many afternoon teas with stale bread and mediocre sweets and limited tea selections. This one is my fave cozy one by far.
