Can’t believe it took me this long to finally give Carbone a go, but I honestly loved it. From the vibes to the service to the actual food and drink - so classy, so warm, perfection. Loved the complimentary prosciutto app and of course the pasta dishes. Spicy rigatoni was every bit as good as I’d hoped, and the tortellini was like Torrisi-level pillowy-ness. The lasagna was alright - not my fave but not bad by any means; think it just paled a bit in comparison to the other two we got since the flavor profile is more lowkey. The only thing I think I could go without was the meatballs, which came highly recommended but I thought they were mid at best. Desserts looked decadent but we ran out of stomach real estate. Of the wines, I got the Sancerre, which was refreshing, light and crisp. Can’t wait to go back.
